After the indulgence of Christmas and New Year, join Sage in giving your support to #MicroBizMattersDay on Friday 8 January.
It’s a day where everyone can help to make life better for micro enterprise owners (0-9 employees) everywhere.
How to show your support:
We’re hoping that over one million people will give at least 8 minutes of their day to help micro business owners survive and thrive.
What can you do in 8 minutes?
- Promote a micro business to your Twitter followers, LinkedIn contacts, Facebook friends and Pinterest pals. Use #MicroBizMattersDay to spread the word.
- Spend 8 minutes helping a micro business owner by offering an idea, skills or working with them to boost their business.
- Donate an 8 minute video providing real, practical advice to micro business owners. Your video can be less than 8 minutes long – but not more. Videos will be featured on the Enterprise rockers YouTube channel.
It’s the second year we’ve supported this global event and organiser hope that this time it will reach over one million people.
Stephen Kelly CEO of Sage says: “In the UK, small businesses employ over 15m people. But these entrepreneurs don’t get the recognition they deserve, so we’re doing everything we can to champion these true heroes and raise their voice.”
“These are the values Sage believe in, and that is why we are supporting #MicroBizMattersDay again. During the day we will be encouraging our customers to take part and take action for at least 8 Minutes, and also using our own social media channels to promote the day using #Customers, #Cashflow and #Confidence.”
Whether you’re a sole trader or entrepreneur yourself or a supplier or customer, we’re encouraging everyone to show their support for these heroes of the economy on #MicroBizMattersDay.
Why not watch the whole day live via the live stream.
