What’s more—the advice given out in these formats is often very generalised. Business gurus want to appeal to the largest group possible, so the content in their books and presentations is universal by design. This is great for the author’s bottom line, not so great for yours. If you sell bicycle parts online, you don’t want advice that applies to, say, a plumbing company. Or a bookstore.
